| Jane is here, she did not go,
Her body's gone but not her Soul. Her Love surrounds us, and fills us with hope; Somehow you feel, you can cope. the body is a vessel to do your work, to fulfill your purpose while here on Earth. Her work is done, but certainly not threw, Jane, I and everyone you've touched, truly Love You. The compassion, Sacrifice, and patience that made you who you are, will extend way beyond the farthest star. Chris |

| She is happy but I still weep.
The afterworld takes care of her and I still cry. I lay by her grave and weep, even though I know she really isn't gone. She stays in my heart and warms it so, but still I weep from below. She's happy and healthy, her drams have come true in her world up there, I weep from down here. I will make her dreams come true, even if it takes years. I will spread peace and make it spread more and more. I will be happy like she is right now and spread her dreams from down here below. But right now, I cry , thinking of her, every second or so. | One of Jane’s noteworthy acts of service was to be certified
as a Virtues Project Facilitator in 2002; unfortunately the progression of her illness limited her ability to share her interest in this grassroots movement; for this reason, as a memorial to Jane, the Jane LaChapelle McCarty Scholarship Fund for the Virtues Project has been established to provide others the opportunity to complete this training; contributions can be sent to: Jane LaChapelle McCarty Fund Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, inc.
